Study Trip to Malang

It was Wednesday morning. That day was the day that all of  1^st grade students waited for. We were ready to go to Malang for a study trip to Brawijaya Museum and Firefighter Department. We already asked all students to pray  together . A bus full of 40 students and 5 teachers slowly moved out from our elementary school parking area. I and other teachers kept busy texting to students’ parents whether their kids still alright and happy going out with all friends. 

            Arrived Brawijaya Museum Malang, we asked students to check their stuffs and stand in line entering the museum. We wrote some notes about precious things there. We also took some pictures inside, of course we had asked a permission to the museum officer first. After that we  had our lunch inside the bus and then continued our trip to Firefighter Department, still in Malang.

            At the Firefighter Department, we met some of the officers. All of  them were very welcoming to us. They explained about their job description and showed their uniform. Kids were interested to the explanation and also tried to wear their uniform.

            The most exciting ones was having short trip around Malang using Firefighter trucks! Students kept waving their hands to all people along the street. Fortunately, it was not the only one exciting moment. After having short trip, the firefighter officers allowed students to spray  and play with water canon. So, it did not take too long time to make all of them got wet!

            Finally, it turned into our job as their teachers, to help them changed their clothes. We were ready to back home. It was so busy and happy day for us, especially the students.
